William Todd-Brown:- b. Glasgow 1875.
Studied at the Slade School of Art and was principle of Redhill School of Art from 1922 - 1940.
He became a member of the R.O.I. in 1935 and exhibited work there as well as many other galleries and institutions including the RA; RCA and RI.
He moved to Cornwall in the 1940's Living and working in Carbis Bay, he exhibited with the St.Ives Society of Artists in the late 1940's.
He died in 1952.

W.D.Angier St.Ives painter who seems not to have associated himself with either the St.Ives Society or Penwith Society of artists. His dates are unclear but he was mentioned in the revue of the 1929 Diamond jubilee of Lanhams Gallery.
